Lotty Learns Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy explains how the Phonics Factory membership service ("the Service") may and may not be used. It's designed to keep the Service fun and safe for the families who use it.
This policy works together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
This policy was last reviewed on August 4, 2026.
Account and Family Access
Your subscription includes access for your household, with up to 8 concurrent logins as described on our pricing page. This is intended for your family's use, not for sharing your account with people outside your household or reselling access to others.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
Respectful Use of the Service
This isn't an exhaustive list, but by using the Service, you agree that you will not:
attempt to copy, resell, or redistribute our paid content (including printables, videos, and interactive tools) outside of your own household's use;
modify, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of the Service;
remove any copyright or branding from materials in the Service;
attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or the accounts of other users;
use the Service to transmit or publish anything harassing, obscene, threatening, or unlawful;
attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization;
use the Service in a way that infringes on the privacy or intellectual property rights of others; or
impersonate Lotty Learns or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
Content Submissions (Letters to Lotty, Story Contest, Proud Moments)
We offer optional features where a parent or guardian may submit their child's letters, artwork, stories, or short videos, as described in our Privacy Policy. When you participate in these features:
you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child and are authorized to submit the material on their behalf;
submitted material must be the child's own original work, and must not contain content that is inappropriate, harmful, or unlawful;
please avoid including your child's last name, school, address, or other identifying details in submitted materials, since these features are meant to share a child's first name, age, and creativity only;
you agree to the terms of our Submission Consent Form, which governs how submitted material may be used; and
we reserve the right to decline, edit, or not use any submission, at our sole discretion, for any reason, including if it does not meet these guidelines.
Enforcement
If we determine that an account has violated this policy, we may suspend or terminate access to the Service, consistent with our Terms of Service. We'll generally try to reach out first if there's a simple misunderstanding, but we reserve the right to act immediately in cases involving harm to other users, illegal content, or abuse of the Service.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service. The current version of this policy, as posted here, applies each time you use the Service.
