The Smarter Way to Celebrate Progress.
Badge Book System
Nothing beats the moment a child sees their parent proud of their progress. Our printable badge book brings those moments into everyday learning, turning real skill-building into something your child can see, hold, and celebrate. It’s an easy way to stay involved, track progress, and celebrate real learning together.
Why it Matters
Parent involvement made simple
Each badge book shows the skills and word types your child has practiced, making it easy for parents to follow progress.
Always visible, always meaningful
Children can display their books on the fridge, in their room, or anywhere they like. It’s a constant reminder of how far they’ve come.
Power of Paper
Studies show that kids are more likely to follow through on goals when they’re written down and visible.
Celebrated together
These moments become family moments, where progress is shared, noticed, and cheered on together.
Encourages healthy screen balance
Blending hands-on activities with on-screen learning builds habits that last beyond early reading.
Creative and fun
Assembling each badge book becomes its own craft project, adding excitement and ownership to each win.
How it Works
Practice a Skill
Your child learns with our tools and activities. Many badges connect to a Phonics Trainer pattern. Others mark habits and milestones like Book Nook stories, bedtime reading, crafts, or sharing a proud moment.
Print the Badge Challenge
Choose the challenge that matches what they practiced. Use the quick check it provides. Some challenges include a word list to read. Others have a simple log or checklist. Each challenge includes the badge.
Celebrate and collect
If they complete the challenge, give them the badge. Glue it into the matching spot in their Badge Book inserts.
Collect all the Badges!
Written Goals Work
Kids are far more likely to reach a goal when it is written down and visible. Research shows people are 42% more likely to achieve goals just by writing them. That’s why each badge book includes a checklist of words or reading skills. As your child works through our interactive tools, you can help track their progress, making the goal feel real, achievable, and worth celebrating.
Print a Diploma at the Finish Line
When your child has completed the entire badge book and has a solid understanding of reading, you can celebrate with a printable Reading Diploma. It’s a special way to mark their achievement and recognize the effort it took to get there.
Create the Badge Book first
Build the simple book using the craft instructions and add the Badge Book Inserts so your child can see every badge spot.
Use Badge Challenges to see progress
Print the matching challenge for what they are working on. Use it to see what they are learning and where they may need more practice.
Award the badge
When the challenge is completed, give the badge and glue it into the matching spot in the book.
Talk and review
Look through the book together, talk about what they learned, decide what to try next, and celebrate each badge they earn.
